I don’t really understand why that’s the case if people really are posting their ballots, because it’s essentially the same as simply telling a group of friends who you voted for. There’s nothing illegal about that, or vote-voiding.

My recommendation is… Try to find a class you really love. The hope being you’ll find more people with similar interests.
at the very least, you can focus on studies and enjoy what you learn out of it. I sincerely wish I could go back to high school and focus more on learning the knowledge available to me, and less on hating my peers.

Just don’t get depressed over it, even though I know it’s hard to do…since it’s me all the time when school starts.

But the problem isn’t that I can’t find people to talk to, I’m one of those people that don’t like to talk to a lot of people, and can’t find friends with common interests.

You’re conflicted. You want friends, but you also find it hard to reach out. I get it because I’m basically the same way, in my own way. (if that makes sense)
All you can do is hope you stumble upon those people (piano player?), and when you find them you can just hope it goes well forward.
Loneliness is pretty hard to endure, sorry you’re someone who has to. Still, be grateful for the online friends you have. That’s the wonderful thing about the internet.
